Málaga's public healthcare comes under the Servicio Andaluz de Salud (SAS), Andalusia's regional health service and the largest of Spain's seventeen by population served. The city itself has grown a significant remote-working community in recent years, adding year-round demand for prescriptions and routine care to what was historically a seasonal pattern.
