What should I do if I get food poisoning in Spain?

I am in Seville and have had severe diarrhea and vomiting since last night after eating seafood. Should I go to the hospital or can I see a doctor online?

Gastroenteritis (food poisoning) is common among travelers. Most cases are viral and resolve with hydration and rest. However, if you experience high fever, severe abdominal pain, or signs of dehydration, you should consult a doctor. We can prescribe antiemetics or antibiotics if a bacterial infection is suspected, and guide you on recovery diet. If you show severe dehydration signs (inability to keep fluids down, extreme dizziness), we will advise you to visit the nearest emergency room.
