Amitriptyline

Amitriptyline is sold in Spain as Tryptizol 10, 25, 50 and 75 mg tablets, generic amitriptyline (Amitriptilina) in the same strengths, and Deprelio 25 mg capsules; the 10, 25 and 50 mg tablets have the same active substance and strength as UK amitriptyline tablets. All of them need a prescription in Spain, as in the UK, Ireland and the US. Spain has no amitriptyline oral solution and no 100 mg or 150 mg tablet; Tryptizol is licensed for the same uses as UK amitriptyline.
