Diphenhydramine is available in Spain, but rarely under the brand name Benadryl. It is often sold as a sleep aid (Soñodor) or cough suppressant. For allergies, pharmacists usually recommend second-generation antihistamines like Cetirizine (Zyrtec) or Loratadine, which are available over the counter.
