Ibuprofen / Advil / Motrin

Ibuprofen in Spain is called ibuprofeno; the names Advil and Motrin are not used, as no Spanish medicine carries either name. Prescription status depends on the product, not only strength: some 400 mg products, such as Nurofen 400 mg and Dalsydol 400 mg, are sold without a prescription, while some generic Ibuprofeno 400 mg and every Neobrufen and Espidifen product need one. Every ibuprofen 600 mg product sold in Spain needs a prescription.
