UK Imodium Original and US Imodium A-D correspond to Fortasec 2 mg capsules, Imodium Instant Melts to Fortasec Flas 2 mg, which melts in the mouth, and UK Imodium Dual Action Relief and US Imodium Multi-Symptom Relief (loperamide plus simeticone) to Fortasec Plus. Spanish packs are licensed for acute diarrhoea in adults and children over 12; the maximum daily dose of Fortasec 2 mg capsules and Fortasec Flas differs from that of the matching UK and US products.
