Saxenda / Liraglutide

Saxenda is sold in Spain under the same name: it holds one licence valid throughout the EU, and the UK and US products are the same 6 mg/ml pre-filled pen (3 ml). Plyzari is another liraglutide pen licensed in Spain for weight management; other liraglutide pens sold there (unbranded Liraglutida pens and Diavic) are licensed only for type 2 diabetes. Saxenda and Plyzari need a prescription in Spain, and Saxenda is not funded by the Spanish public health system.
